After years sewing sails to an unforgiving standard, I bring the same obsession with strength and wear to children's knitwear: reinforced where it matters, finished as carefully with a mind towards durability and aesthetics.

Every sweater starts with wool spun on the oldest operating mule spinner in America — a lofty but durable two-ply yarn that insulates like down but is more weatherproof. It comes undyed and lanolin-rich, or dyed in joyful color. The silhouette is a roll-neck heirloom design, simple and clean.

Each piece is knit on vintage machines, then seamed and hand-knit at the hem, neckline, and cuffs. For summer, the beanies and matching tanks bring the same care to sun protection, in Oeko-Tex certified organic cotton.

This isn't precious clothing kept for special occasions. It's built to be worn hard, outgrown, handed down, and loved into the next child's closet — utilitarian armor for a damp, beautiful place, made to hold up to real childhood.
